Morning Dharavi slum tour, famous for its small-scale industries including ceramics and pottery making, soap manufacturing, embroidery, and recycling of old plastic goods. A walking tour explores the community life of the slums and their hopes for the future. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mumbai passes the Gateway of India, Mumbai’s principal landmark. A drive past the Bombay High Court built in the Gothic style, the Victoria Terminus, the colourful Crawford Market and Flora Fountain in the large bustling square at the heart of the city. Drive along the Marine Drive. Also visit St. Thomas Cathedral Church and Mani Bhavan where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his visits to Bombay.
After breakfast drive to Nashik. Check in at Beyond by Sula, overlooking the serene Gangapur lake for 3 nights. Afternoon at leisure.
This morning take the Wine tour in the vineyard and learn about the processes of making wine. Naturally enjoy wine sampling with tutoring in the five steps of tasting! Afternoon visit another vineyard, explore the estate and have a tasting of their wines. Currently their 29 vineyards in the area producing, each year, ever finer quality wine.
Today have a guided tour of the ancient city of Nashik – one of the most sacred religious place for Hindus. Its association with the epic Ramayana makes Nashik very important to both to devotees and historians. Visit the interesting Temples, Forts and explore the local market.
Morning drive to Aurangabad. Stay at the Vivanta By Taj for 2 nights. Afternoon visit Ellora Caves with its 34 rock-cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art dating from the 4th to the 9th C.AD. The most remarkable among them is the Kailash Temple, which is considered to be a replica of The Lord Shivas celestial abode, Kailash. It’s a superb example of rock-cut architecture.
Morning depart for a full day excursion to Ajanta caves, dating from around 200 BC to 650 AD. As Ellora developed and Buddhism gradually declined, the Ajanta Caves were abandoned and gradually forgotten. However, in 1819 a British hunting party stumbled upon them and their astounding beauty discovered. Thanks to their remoteness, their isolation contributed to the fine state of preservation. Ajanta is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Morning drive to Pune and then fly to Nagpur. Met on arrival and transferred to Hotel Pride for an overnight stay.
Morning drive to the 625-sq-km Tadoba – Andhari National Park. On arrival check in at the Svasara Jungle Lodge for 3 nights. Afternoon game drive in a shared jeep. This relatively unknown tiger reserve is a great place for quiet safaris and wildlife sightings. The tropical, deciduous, dry forest harbour approx. 40 to 43 tigers. The frequency of tiger sightings is high!.

The wildlife population includes tiger, leopard, guar, python, fish eagle and wolf spiders.
